Agroexportadores de Occidente (AGEO) is a company focused on providing services for the consolidation, processing, marketing, and export of agricultural products. AGEO is located in Corquín, Copán, and serves the western region of Honduras (Copán, Ocotepeque, Santa Bárbara, and Lempira). In its initial phase, the priority will be on consolidating supply, adding value, and exporting coffee and cardamom products.
The launch of this new company strengthens the productive capacities of its strategic partners through the diversification of new products, such as cardamom. This initiative arises from the market opportunity to supply two main products, coffee and cardamom, primarily due to their high and growing demand, the lack of organized supply, and the quality of these emerging production systems. For this reason, taking advantage of these conditions, commercial alliances are expected to be formed with investors and buyers, who will, in turn, guarantee the purchase and commercialization of these products.

About Us
The types of services that AGEO will provide to its partners will focus on enabling small producers to participate in national and international markets to which they previously did not have access, due to quality standards, access to processing, packaging, and required volumes. In this first stage of the business plan, the aim is to include services for the consolidation of supply, drying, storage, milling, and export services for coffee and cardamom. AGEO introduces the implementation of processes based on continuous improvement and compliance with quality and safety standards within its value chain.
Within its policies and practices, more efficient technologies for the use of natural resources and environmentally friendly processes are introduced, as well as competitive and specialized human talent, including gender equity at all levels. The social and environmental commitment that AGEO provides allows us to guarantee fair marketing conditions for our partners and their customers.
